1984 Camaro

ok guys, im new here. so my neighbour bought a camaro a couple years ago and it has been parked for quite awhile now. so i decided to ask him about it. turns out the tranny is gone and something is wrong with the engine. he's not sure wat wrong in either. now the body is good, but the paint looks like someone tried to use a paint roller. it has new rubber. i am assuming that the engine is rebuildable too. my question is this, he's asking $900 for it (im sure i could work him down a couple hundred) now would u buy it and restore it?

p.s. it is a z28 305 auto

Re: 1984 Camaro

If it is solid (no rust) and the interior is decent.. I'd say go for it. Haggle over price of course, but go for it... Welcome to the site!

work him down to 600and buy it. these cars are the future of muscle cars. guys like us are never gonna afford a 69ss, pretty soon people are going to be looking for affordable workable muscle cars. unfortunatly its us and the fox body 'stangs grab it while you can bro.....
