Engine: 305 TBI, 2.8L carb
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2:73
I need help decoding my VIN, RPO code????
Ok fellas, I'm lost, I have 2 third gens and am very intrested in finding out there history. How do I go about doing this? I dont know where to look to find the information I'm after.....HELP!!!! Thanks Jake

There are RPO decoders online. Just punch in the codes from your SPID and it will tell you what they stand for.
Your VIN will have a few clues, too. My Parts and Illustration catalog has a section that shows what the VIN contains for the '82-'92 generation Birds.
