Can anyone tell me if there were any appearance packages offered on early firebirds aside from the 15th anniversary Trans Am that had white ribbed tail lights? I found these on a junked white '82 trans am. The firebird logo is not blue/gray like the 15th anniv. edition.

A pic would be great, u got one?
To my knowledge only the '84 15th anniversary T/A had white ribbed taillights during that era. The eagle logo is pretty simple to swap out, so maybe they just swapped it out.. that's my guess.

If the tail lights didn't come off a 15th Anniversary T/A then chances are its a custom job.
Here's a shot of it. I can't quite tell if it's a custom job or not as it is well done.

That is a custom job. The top of the 15th lenses are painted, not just the louvers.
The tops of the louvers are also painted, not just the outer edge.
The PONTIAC lettering is also white on the 15th center section.

yeah, definitely aftermarket whiteness. Looks pretty cool though. Judging by the middle taillight piece color, I'd say the taillights originated on an 82-84 S/E (maroon, black, or dark charcoal upper body for 1982, can't remember all 83-84 colors) or an 82-84 T/A (any color except black).
