1989 turbo trans am heads?

1989 turbo trans am heads?
Can anybody tell me if the heads used on the 1989 turbo trans am were the the same ones used on the turbo grand prix? I know the the tgp was a 3.1 but I had read some were that pontiac used heads off of the gp the it did not say if it was turbo gp or not. Please help me since i have found 2 turbo gp in the local boan yard and would get them if they wewe the same heads as the tta! Thanks!!!!

The 3.1 & 3.8 are completely different animals. The 3.8 is a Buick design and the 3.1 is either Pontiac or Chevy, I do not remember. The difference between a 2.8 & 3.1 & 3.4 is less...
IIRC the heads they used on the TTA were the heads from a LeSabre or a Park Ave. I would imagine other models used the same heads, like the Delta 88, 98, and the Pontiac Bonneville from circa 1989...
BTW, GRAB THOSE SEATS, I think they are the same as the Ultima seats from the GTA in the Turbo cars...
