GM did not authorize any F-body convertibles until 1987. ASC got the job. Matrix3, Autoform and others may have had the cars drop shipped and GM may have had some hand in it but nothing official. Chances are it was a dealer special order.
Matrix3 was one of the more popular Convertibles. From the cars I have seen the ASC is by far the most plentiful, followed by the Autoform and the Matrix3 is a close third ...
