Original Grey Valve Caps

i been pulling grey valve caps off GM cars spair tires in j/y's left and right and i have come up with 2 styles?? one has a smooth top and the other has a raised circle on it im not sure if this pic is good enough to see the diff in the 2, but was wondering if someone knew what one was correct for 1989

in the pic the 2 in the center have the raised circle on the top

Yeah that pic is useless but the caps with the smooth rounded tops will be correct.

yea that pic does suck, thanks for the info, anyone know id the smooth rounded is for all 3rd's........that way i know what to pull, try to get some for some other members

I've been through this a while back, looks like the 2 on the outside of that pic are the correct ones, with the smooth tops, the center ones with the "nipple" on them are for newer cars. There is a member that has found the closest possible new match to the originals, but if you can get the original ones that is nice.

me and a friend go to the j/y for the heck of it, just to see what we can find that we can use for different projects

i always look at the spair tires on 80's GM to get the caps lol

Yep I'm that member :-) Still got some ...
