Q's about 15th Ann. seats
So most of you know I bought a 15th anniversary t/a. It is less than perfect and when done will probably be lacking some of its origianl pieces, like the motor, and dash stuff, as I plan to upgrade them to later stuff. So with that said. At what point does the lack of "orginality" hurt the value? I ask because at some point my seats will need recovered and SMS wants $125 a yard for the fabric. Is it worth spending $250 for it or should I let it go to someone who needs it for an original car? Thanks in advance for your input!

well with only 1500 built I would restore it to original condition but that is just me. I think if you even find the fabric for those seats and you really want them then get them as its only going to get harder to find.

I've got a set of the Recaro's from a 15th TA that was at the jy a while back
i wish i would have grabbed more from that car but it was pretty trashed. The seats were there though, complete but torn up. I'm gonna get some of the fabric from SMS, enough to do the inserts on the front seats and then have the upholstery shop find the matching grey and do the back seat inserts.
