1. Coupe
2. Berlinetta
3. Z28
As far as I know, no Irocs on the market until 1985..

Re: Base to Luxury models
ACTUALLY,
Some years the Base price of the Berlinetta was higher than the base price of the Z28. 1984 was one of those years
SC L4 - $7,995
SC V6 - $8,245
SC V8 - $8,545
Z28 V8 - $10,620
Berl V6 - $10,895
Berl V8 - $11,270

Re: Base to Luxury models
I can't believe the price difference between the V6 and V8 was only around $300. I also didn't know an SC could be had with a V8. How much "stuff" did the Z28 have that the SC V8 didn't?

Re: Base to Luxury models
It varies year to year. In 1984 the Z28 had the following standard equipment over and above the Sport Coupe:
- LG4 engine standard (optional on SC)
- 5-speed manual trans (4-speed was standard on SC)
- 15" wheels and Eagle GT tires (not available on SC)
- Body color mirror with left remote (optional on SC)
- Ground effects, special hood and rear spoiler (rear spoiler optional on SC)
- Full gauges with tach (optional on SC)
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel (not available on SC)
- Quartz analog clock (optional on SC)
- Different suspension tuning to optimize the 15" wheel/tire package.

Re: Base to Luxury models

Berlinetta are the rarest, only seen 2 in my life and they were in junkyards.
IROC and Z-28 are the same level

Although, locally, I've seen 2, one in a Junkyark parking lot, rotting.. And one for sale for 3500 with a V6..

Re: Base to Luxury models
Yea berlys are hard to come by, I've had two, parted the 86 and still have the 84. Interesting cars but do need a suspension improvement. And for the most part, yes, regular camaros, identical to the sc in many ways, but with an "improved" steering box, redesigned and digital interior among other ammenities that were optional to the z28, with a ****-poor suspension. Then again these cars are 80+ years old and I obviously never got to try one in their prime, maybe it was exactly what it was suuposed to be, a nice touring car. But back to the original question at hand, no Iroc available so:
SC
Z28
Berlinetta (price wise)
SC
Berlinetta
Z28. (performance and option wise)
