Re: Bruce

If Bruce got the Formula, congratulations. It's great that the vehicle will be in the community. I'd like to see additional pictures.

1) First Firebird built in 1992. VIN sequence is 200001
2) Jamaica Yellow. Not very common color.
3) 1LE

Re: Bruce

Hey guys just wanted to post up and let everyone know Hawks did get the car, 35K was the bid price, pretty good deal I figure as the car did come with a CLEAR title MSO I seen the title personally so that is a big relief as far as paperwork.
Another piece of interesting info is shortly after the car was sold most of the other gm vehicles were pulled from the auction due to unaired details that were not spoken of so I am interested to see what plays out tomorrow.
Just a shout out to say thanks to all that were pulling for us and a special shout out to t towner for the extra help .
see ya guys and thanks again everyone.
Thanks Bruce

Awesome Bruce! Congratulations! Job well done! Way to preserve a piece of history, I know there are a number of people who are more at ease now that that car is back in good hands.

So the car came on an MSO huh? That makes sense. Please post pics when you can.

Re: Bruce

Nice going. I was watching the auction on TV later in the day....that car was still in the top ten. Not sure if it is now but it was in the top five it seems for almost the whole day as far as prices of cars sold while the auction was live.

Re: Bruce

Bruce,
Are you going after the IROC-Z Concept as well? Its going off the block I think within the hour. Not a word has been said about it here on the boards here til I noticed it on TV when they were panning the staging area and I started a thread about it

Bruce did? How come we weren't told? I might have been interested in something. Maybe I'm just not in the circle?
