Great site!!! I just picked up an '85 IROC-Z last week and I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if GM actually broke down the production numbers by color and drivetrain. I know they made just over 21,000 IROC's in 1985 but I'm wondering how many were black 305 tuneports like mine. Does anyone out there know if this info even exists??? Any help would be great - I believe I'm sitting on a pretty rare car but I'd just like to verify that.

Nobody knows, however I would guess a descent amount.

 

Individual numbers for '85 show . . .
Black (all models) = 28,438 (2nd only to Red @ 31,473).
LB9 TPI = 32,836
Those are large numbers. Unfortunatly there's no way to crossreference 3rd gen Camaro options to determine the rarity of any particular combination. As AmorgetRS said, there would be a decent amount.
