LS1 & 4L65E?
Anyone know of a car offered with an LS1 and 4L65E? Could be a 4L60E as well, I've been told there is no difference in the PCM tables for these two. I ask because I have an LS1 from a 2000 vette in my Jeep and am putting in a 4L65E and need a base tune file to program my PCM. I was told by one programmer that I should not use the vette stock tune because of the trans axle. I'm new to the whole tuning thing so would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Isn't the LQ9 basically an bigger displacement, iron block version of the LS1. And the LQ9 came with 4L65E, right? In full sized trucks?
If so, I see no reason a LS1 PCM couldn't control a 4L65E just as easily as a 4L60E.

I think you took a wrong turn at the Tech Boards. History/Restoration is for the discussion of 82-92 Camaro/Firebird history, and restoration. Maybe try the engine swap forum or tech/general forum.
