1985 G92 or not.

Member Rollinroc posted the spid from his early van nuys built 1985 G92 IROC. It is the first 1985 Camaro I have seen with rpo G92 on the spid. I have an 1985 IROC with the same drivetrain and springs but dosn't list rpo G92 on the spid. By comparing the two spids, do you see any reason G92 isn't on my spid? I have seen a couple of our members 85 IROC spid's with the same drivetrain as mine without G92. Are our camaro's considered G92 equipt?

I don't know about Camaros specifically but if your car is a G92 car you should have the G92 RPO code. I did on my 1985 Trans Am.

You would think, but if you look at the codes they both have GU6 3.42 G92 gear, LB9,MXO,G80,J65 and even the springs are the same 8NN,9NN,6ZWand 7ZW.
