I need info on my 83 Firebird
The special plaque on the dash of my 83 Firebird says that my car is called a (Firebird 500) It is numbered 388 of 500 on the Plaque. My car has the original V8 with the 5 Speed. Can anybody tell me more about my car, or tell me how to know if I have the L69 5.0 4bbl H.O. V8?

check that thread for info about the Firebird 500 package.
The 8th digit of the VIN will tell you what engine it was. If it is a 7 it's a L69, if it's an H, it's a LG4
