Oil cooler

I am trying to bring back my '88 drop top as close as I can, even keeping the 305. I know.... My question is the oil cooler on the block that is connected to the engine coolant some how. GM discontinued the part and mine looks alright but is there some one that has new or can tell me what to look for on my old one? The engine leaked so much oil that it was never changed it was just added but do the flanges warp or is it the o ring that goes bad along with the nut that holds it together losing torque?

Re: Oil cooler

The O rings flatten and harden over time and begin leaking.
