Taillight filler panel question

Sorry to start another thread, but given that I will likely order my NOS IROC lenses early next week, I am looking to make sure I upgrade them properly.

I've been looking at the inner fill panels (the black panel just inside from the reverse lights, which also houses the license plate lamps), and is it true that they are supposed to be gloss black instead of matte? Mine sure as hell aren't glossy anymore and I've never seen any that were.

Also since these use a different license plate lens than than the RS taillights, and possibly different wiring since the bulb placement is different within the lamp housing (the RS places the bulb in the top, the IROC ones are in the middle if I'm not mistaken...couldn't for the life of me imagine a problem with this), is there any incompatibility issues in switching out mine for new ones? I can't imagine there would be, but again, just being thorough.

Lastly, anyone know where I can find a passenger side one, or new lenses for them? Nobody seems to have them, but I've found the drivers at both modern day muscle and year one. If anyone can help me with part numbers that would help, as I think they often get labeled with different names which makes searching difficult.

Thanks.

EDIT: damn, just realized the fillers themselves are different more so than just the lens...have to get new ones in order to swap the lenses it looks like. On that note, is there *anything* else I need to swap the lenses? Are the tail light housings themselves the same at least?
