RPO code?
RPO code E72:Body length,INCR 18 INCH.Dose this mean my 89 Iroc z is 18 inches longer than some other camaro's or are they all the same.Or is this not what the abreveation is saying.E52 door rr,83 inch, wrap around?what?I'm supposed to have a D42:shade,RR compt security.Whats that.I don't think it in there. My code 81A:Stripe color,Accent, two tone,red/black(91) I must not have the original striping because mine has a blue/black and there is some light blue pin striping on the car.Primary ext.color is 41U: and that is what it is.NA5:emissions system, federal, tier 0.Tell me about that one.thank you
Re: RPO code?
Any code that has (91) in the description means that in 1991 that's the definition. Other years the definition may be different.
D42 is the roll up cargo shade. Even if it's gone the mounts in the hatch area should still be there.
The other code definitions aren't necessarily accurate either. A code can mean different things from year to year and model to model, if it sounds blatantly wrong, it probably is. Google is a good place to search for codes, just keep in mind if yu're not on a Camaro/Firebird website the definition has a higher chance of being wrong.
