Nice paintjob!! Love the color (you dont see that many gray ones)...Only thing I can see that should still be done is replace the wheels...Otherwise youve got a great looking car!!

due to funds tightening the wheels are on the lsit for next winter which i plan to bring it to the same shop since he was good with me this time having him blast the undercarriage and apply a new under coat make any needed repair and replace wheels then also gonna paint the current rims to hold me over until then been thinking of using those black i guess for lack of a better description mesh looking rim from the trans ams with 275's in the rear and i think it was 255 in the front

Is it really a Z28, or is it an IROC-Z? I don't think I've seen an 85-87 Z28 with a 350, pretty neat!

Re: my baby is back :)

Oh you got a sweet deal dude, I already had my car painted last June but I'll look em up for anything else. Are you gonna be visiting the Bristol Auto Club shows on rt. 6 by Sears? I believe they're every Saturday starting in April or May. I've been there a few times last season... I only saw one or two thirdgens there other than my 91.

They didn't update the info for the 2011 season yet but it shouldn't be much longer. They started at 4 pm every Saturday afternoon and would end at sundown... I'm guessing the schedule is the same this year. After that cruise was over I'd always head out to the Burger King on the Berlin Turnpike since all of that stuff starts there at night lol.

Guys, let's keep the general cruise chat to the regional forums. People following the thread don't want to get caught up in personal conversation. Thanks.

Do you plan on striping it? I love the look of the gray with the blue stripe!

Re: my baby is back :)

I wasn't following your response, but I now get it. I was referring to the stripes at the ground effects. The official IROC-Z stripes, not the Heritage stripes. What do you think of those?

Re: my baby is back :)

well my original paint idea was going yellow and doing the grnd effects black and the wrap around spoiler black but since i went with the gun metal i like the look of it straight gun metal plan to tint the windows and i have the rear lens covers on to give that "stelath" of "sleek" look
