I'm looking for either brand new or NOS silver firebird/trans am emblem for the rear taillights.

any suggestions?

 

Modern Day Muscle used to have them....not sure if they still do. Not easy to find silver...gold is much easier to come by.

i saw a gold one on ebay i asked the guy if he has a silver one and waiting to hear back

i have a few but they are all used and cracked in different areas

 

Car motorsports has all the emblems. Check ebay as they sell them all the time on there or hit up their website. They are as good, if not better, than the factory emblems.

 

Anyone know of a Place that can make a Custom One?

When I repaint my Formula Yellow (Someday) I would love to get a Yellow Bird. I have 85-90 Trans Am Tail Lights on my Car.

 

I bought a brand new one back in 08. Silver in GM packaging. I THINK it was from modern day muscle...but it might have been from somewhere else. Ill try to dig through my emails to look for the order...

I wanted to replace my blue one.



Bag with numbers in case you want to try dealers...doubt you'll have much luck there though.

EDIT: Hawks still has them listed... $35 and you chose the year/color... Not sure if that means they are 100% available. But its worth looking into.

The part number is still valid. Most GM sites say its been discontinued. But calling them and talking to someone might net you something..never know.

EDIT EDIT:... Scoggin Dickey shows the part number on their site...and its $13. I would DEF call them and see what they have to say...

Im almost positive I bought mine from MDM, and I KNOW I only paid about $15 at the time. Guess theyre getting harder to get and the price is jumping... Yikes....I should have bought 3 haha.

but yea im not happy about 50 freakin dollars but i figure buy it now before it goes even higher in years to come. i actually found a center piece with a perfect emblem on it from a junk yard and got it next to nothing because i boguht other stuff with it.

i like having spares for these old pieces just incase i get into an accident or someone vandilizes my car
