What parts are interchangable?
i have a 87 camaro that is complete(but the body is not in the best shape) and an 93 formula that isnt complete(but there isnt a spot of rust or anything on the body). my question is what all was changed between these years that i can or cant swap out? nothing interior wise that im worried about, just the rear end, suspension, brakes ect.
Re: What parts are interchangable?
Plenty of 4th gen parts will bolt into a thirdgen, but they aren't exactly the same. About the only parts that are truly the same between a 4th gen Firebird and a thirdgen Camaro, are going to be the rear lower control arms, track bar, torque arm, and driveshaft. Oh yeah, the muffler is the same part number if the thirdgen is/was an HO.

Combining two half-a$$ed cars into one good one is a great idea. But these two aren't similar enough.
