85 camaro
Re: 85 camaro
Do a search on TGO and you'll find that it's just the upgraded suspension over the base suspension. It was the early years Sport suspension until the IROC-Z years with FE2.
Re: 85 camaro
Think of it like this... There are three levels of suspension used on 82-92 Fbodies. Level 1 is soft, for comfort more then handling. Level 2 was a little harder, a blend of comfort and performance. Level 3 was HARD, sacrificing comfort for performance.
F41 was the level 2 suspension in most years. It was optional on early Sport Coupes, and later on the V8 RS, standard on the Trans Am without WS6 in some years, and standard on some Z28's without FE2.
Level 3 was FE2, which was standard on the Irocz, and included on most WS6 Firebirds, and on late Z28's with 245/50ZR16 tires.
On an 85 coupe, it'd basically amount to stiffer springs, and larger sway bars. On later cars it triggered 16" wheels, performance steering, etc. In all cases F41 is the mid level suspension, but it was the best you could get on a Sport Coupe, or RS.
