Is it an owner or a dealership that is selling it, I have a 88 GTA and mine is in mint shape and every thing is original and works perfect, including the a/c i have 116k on it and i value it at around $4500

if the milage is real low, then yes otherwise anything over 90,000 miles delearships consider graveyard.

Re: is $8995 too much for a mint iroc z?

If the car has low, as in under 70k, miles, then yes I would say its worth $9k in nice shape. It also has to be very clean to earn that price.

Granted, TAs aren't worth as much as IROCs, but I was able to score a 26k mile 305 TPI/stick 88 TA for under $7k that only needs a few minor things. I do admit I robbed it, at least in my opinion.

A 350 IROC is certainly worth more than a 305 TPI/stick TA, but it has to be in great shape to be worth strong money. I only paid $3,500 more than the one you're looking at when I bought my 88 IROC 350 with 21k miles on it, and needed absolutely nothing. Good luck to you.
