Hey everyone,

I unfortunately have found I have a 1991 hood that someone replaced the original hood with on my 89 vert. So I now have federal emissions stickers for a 1991 5.7...But I believe the stickers I need are the federal DCC stickers and hose routing for 1989. I called the dealer, and of course no dice was discontinued in 2000. I have looked all over the internet, and it seems no one is reproducing this year label. You can find just about every other year on ebay and at classic industries. I would like to get this right. I think the label number is 10116651 and the "DCC" emission hose routing label.

 

Same problem...different stickers. If I find a source I'll post it. Maybe someone has a source or knows where a label can be made from a photo. This has got to be a problem for others.

 

Try http://www.ecsvin.com/ . I haven't used them, but have been planning to when I get the paint done on my Trans Am, I know they reproduce the SPID stickers and the door stickers, so they probably will do the underhood stickers as well.

They are a little pricey, but thats because of the licensing I'm sure. Post up how your experience with them goes, I'm curious. I'll definitely be contacting them when I finish my Trans Am's body work and paint and I need all the stickers replaced.

 

Uhhh....$115 for an underhood emissions decal? The dealer used to sell them for $12...I know they don't anymore, but really? $115?
