GM Shop Manual missing sections.

Ive got a question for all of you with original GM shop service manuals.

In a few sections of mine

  • Rear Axle
  • Automatic Transmission
  • Manual Transmission
  • Wiring Diagrams
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Windshield Wiper and washers.
Its not a huge deal, but i was wondering if anyone else had these sections that im missing? Some sections say, "This section will be shipped at a later date"... But im not so sure i believe them...

My 85 GM shop manual is complete. It's a bound version, if that makes any difference.

Re: GM Shop Manual missing sections.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the missing 1985 shop manual sections to arrive. I've bought several diff shop manuals in my lifetime, and they have always been complete, right down to the loose, colored wiring diagrams. I've always gotten the paperback bound ones before, and I've noticed the covers are getting thinner and flimsyer over the years. I've always paid the $$$ for them from HELM. Did you get yours from HELM ?
