So after my old v6 bird got backed into and ended up getting it written off (thread here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...cked-into.html) I went looking for a new thirdgen and came across this GTA on craigslist and posted the ad here to see what they thought (thread here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...ml#post5239408) SO I ended up buying it yesterday for $2900, buyer was originally asking $3500. It's a 1989 with a 5 speed 305 with t-tops. here are some pics when I got her back home

Congrats. GTA with 5 speed and T top is an elusive combination. You bought it for a great price from what I see in the pics.

Thanks everyone! the only thing wrong with it is that it needs a needs a little respray of clear coat on some parts of the body and in the future a new spoiler. Other than that, it's pristine. I'm completely in love with it right now but the worst part is it has to sit for a while until I can get enough cash for insurance haha. I'll post some interior and underhood shots sometime today

It sucks your other bird was written off but it looks like it worked out, that GTA is beautiful.

wow... great combination, 5speed and T's. looks great. the rear spoiler's are known for chipping and fading. mine is slowly turning black. with all the white paint chips peeling off. good find, and good luck...
