1990 firebird advice?!!
1990 firebird advice?!!
I bought a 1990 fire bird I want to authenticate what model it is and if its
completely original or not. There is zero rust and 58k miles on it. Its in great shape
It has 305 5.0 v8 tbi. Front disk brakes, clothe interior, auto tranny, t tops pop up headlights cruize control power mirrors windows and antenna. Please let me know what model this is and what the first thing you would mod on it

From the pic it looks to be a Firebird with the base V8 in it. Wheels look right for the car, but that's about all I can tell at this point.

Re: 1990 firebird advice?!!
The first thing I'd do is replace the factory exhaust with freer flowing system including the catalytic converter. That's the first place I'd start and go from there like intake, heads, cam, headers, ect, ect.
But IMHO, I'd save all the factory original parts just in case you want to return it back to stock in the future or something. Or, if you decide to sell it someday to an 3rd gen enthusiast/collector.
