Run the VIN through a VIN decoder. Easiest way.

Re: Questions about a 87 Camaro

Check your SPID's RPOs in the center console if they are still there then look them up to see what you have. Specific combinations were available on certain models. From this information you start to break it down as to what your 87 is. If that is missing post a picture and let us try to figure it out.

Try www.compnine.com to see if it knows the VIN.

Re: Questions about a 87 Camaro

Probably a sport coupe if your having trouble figuring out what model it is. A Z28 or IROC-Z is easy to spot.

Not trying to be a jerk, but you came to a website that can provide you with all of the answers you are asking. Why would you ask us to refer you to another website?

Re: Questions about a 87 Camaro

Post your VIN (or at least the first 8 digits if you're worried about privacy). We can rule a few things out just based on what engine it originally had.

People actually pay to have their VIN decoded?
