Re: LO3 in an 89 IROC vert?
The (LO3) engine was the standard for IROCs in 1989. You had to upgrade to the (LB9) or the (B2L).
The B2L was $1,045.00 more and 12,370 IROCs were ordered with the TPI 350.
The LB9 was $745.00 more and 8,925 IROCs were ordered with the TPI 305
With a total of 24,007 IROCs produced in 1989 minus 21,295 with a TPI engine only 2,712 of the IROCs produced had the LO3. Rarer, but not as desirable as the TPI engines.

I've never seen an 89 IROC without TPI before. LO3 in an IROC would be a real disappointment.
