Trans am decals, should they be here?

Ok I am getting some new decals made and was looking at members cars to see if I was missing something and noticed my decals seem to be in the wrong place. The car was repainted at some point but they took the time to find the right decals and place them very evenly so I guess my question did the bird and trans am logo ever look like this:

Well I didn't want the stripe kit or anything just the sail panel birds and the logos, so I found a company that will do it at a great price something like 20 dollars for both birds. That and I couldn't find the same ones, which is obviously wrong. Although I might prefer the bigger decals to be honest. Nice car by the way! I like the white.

Wow. That is one SWEET color combo (white w/red stripes, red int, white wheels). Never seen it before, and now I'm wondering why (other than the obvious: most people tend to hate red interiors).

yeah that white TA is one hot car. My 87 has the decals in the same location as the 86 and mine are in the correct locations since my car is original paint and decals.

Don't you get exhaust fumes inside with your pipes exiting under the door?

Yes it is pretty terrible. When I got the car it was a 3 hr drive home and I am pretty sure I got some carbon monoxide poisoning from it. It also has the nice side effect of getting a film all over my paint and tires, you know to keep dust off. Other that that whats not to love
