Is there a factory issued (Maybe Helms) paper assembly manual that covers all 10 years of Third Gen F-Bodys in detail?
Or is it each individual model year only?
Thanks for knowledgeable replys Gents.

There are books, put out by GM for their dealership garages (pre-internet days) for each year. But in regards to the full third generation, then yes. I have this book; it's invaluable. Here's a photo of it from an ebay ad:Originally Posted by 82RZ

Yup get your hands on a GM Parts and Accessories Catalog. They are pricey ( I paid $100 for mine), but well worth the money.

I bought mine from a dealer years ago but I was able to find the exact same catalog in a pdf file on the net.
Check Ebay.

Bought mine off ebay a few years back. Look for a 1992 edition, if you can find one, since it will cover all third gen camaros. There is a seperate book for firebirds but I don't own one yet.
Older dealerships might have them still but online would be your best bet.
Look to spent $85+ for a hard copy and I haven't seen any on cd or pdf so I don't know what those would go for. Money well spent though.

Maybe... but I still think online is your best bet since our cars have been out of production for twenty plus years.

I have been looking for one of the manuals like you have pictured that shows section #3 on FUEL INJECTION. That particular manual covers sections 1-1A through 4-?. What are the other topics that are covered in it and what color is the cover of the binder on that one? This is so I will know what to look for.Originally Posted by jharrison5

My manual is a full one so if they printed it it should be in there.

Ok i finally made it back home!
The book I have is split into two parts, are all loose pages, and is housed in a huge blue three ring binder...
The first part are all white pages and contain part numbers, descriptions, prices, and the years they cover. It has 15 sections with around 850 pages.
The second part are all blue pages and contains numbered exploded assembly diagrams with their corresponding part numbers and descriptions. It also has 15 sections and around 900 pages.
A complete manual will be around 4-5 inches thick and weigh a good 8-10 pounds.

I checked with my GM guys and the 92 edition is no longer available. Looks like its Epay or a older GM dealer that may still have one AND are willing to part with.
