Org owner low mile 82-92 SBC cars

Ok, I'm having a friendly little debate with a feller about exhaust manifold gaskets and whether or not they were on SBCs motors in these cars from the factory in 82-92.

If your a original owner, or a low mile owner and have any, hard to get pix, of the exhaust manifold to head area, I'd like to see them.
I know which way I'm leaning but would like a unbiased response.

Post them up!

The only sbc I have ever sn from the factory with exhaust manifold gaskets was the L31.

Yep, as far as I have ever seen, gm did not put gaskets in the manifolds.

I know they started using the steal gaskets somewhere on the LT1 cars but not sure if it was in 93 or someplace later.

Neither my 87 iroc motor or my 95 silverado motor had a gasket.

No gaskets on stock manifolds.
L31 has steel shim gaskets nice and reusable.

Those foil/graphite rebuilder exhaust gaskets are the worst!!!!!
Scrape for days...
