Car: 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
Engine: LB9
Transmission: Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 limited slip differential
Was quick ratio steering an option for '87 Firebird?
Was quick ratio steering an option for '87 Firebird Trans Am? Heard it came standard with WS6. Did it also come with Y99? If optional what was the RPO code?

The Pontiac book for 1987 says Y99 has the 12.7:1 ratio.

Thank you for the answer. Pardon my ignorance, but is the 12.7:1 a standard steering ratio or the quick ratio steering?
