Can someone please point me in the right direction to getting started documenting my vehicle? Just short of CarFax of course. Haven't done that yet. I want to find original build sheets (not under seats), would love to get a copy of original window sticker and dealer that originally sold it if I could.

 

Since you cant find your build sheet, the next best thing would be to get a vehicle invoice from GM. They somehow made copies of every vehicle invoice from back in the day and for a fee, you can get one emailed to you.

It shows a list of most options, the original dealership, and sometimes the original owners name who special ordered the car. (If the car was special ordered.) It all depends on the individual invoice.
