I just got a 1988 base camaro with a v6 and 5speed. I'm planning on restoring it for my wife. She bought one just like it brand new in '87. It's a solid car. All original and never pimped out or modified. It does need a full interior refresh. Previous owner was a smoker and the carpet and seats are super stained. I'm looking to buy an interior kit but after looking at several examples I think my interior may be mixed between 87 and 88 parts. I'm guessing the rear seats are 88 and the door panels and steering wheel are carry overs from 87. I cannot identify the front seats. Maybe someone recognizes them?? Thanks very much

Those are 4th Gen Camaro seats. At least '98 or newer.

 

Cant speak for the front seats, but I think the door panels are not '87. My '89 has the same panels. The steering wheel is correct, though we all hate that style. I replaced mine with a leather IROC wheel.

Your rear seats look very similar to mine. Here is an older pic of my interior, split seams and all. You can see the front and rear seats, along with the door panel.

 

I think we have the same rear design except yours has black and grey. Mines just grey. But I've seen examples of seats with the diagonal seams in them, like the ones on your door panel. I wonder why they mixed the 2 together.
