Hello from Kitty's house again. So now I have found the RPO sheet on our 84 S/E. I've heard folks speak of 2.8 HO's being put in S/E's but have also been told that did not happen. I would love to find a place where I can actually decifer all the codes on the sheet I have. It's still attached to the console lid and very readable. There are seventy two codes listed and then at the bottom of the sheet it has WATER WA-M8311 L7714 U7714 Is there a way to decode this stuff for real? I was reading another guys code sheet and another owner was stating that he had a very rare car yet my code sheet shows a bunch more codes than the one they were talking about. any help would be appreciated. dj

If any RPO code definitions are suspicious, it will be because those types of resources do not always do well with the fact that GM recycles RPO codes.

Y84 is a good example of this on the ThirdGen. 1987-1992 it meant the GTA option while 1982-1984 it meant the Special Edition Recaro option. Two very different options. The list linked below only has the GTA definition.
