89 Trans Am L98/B2L NON-Y84
I have 1989 WS6 Trans Am with the L98 with no GTA package. Any Idea how many were made? I have never seen another in person, most are 5.0L/Autos. Any help would be appreciated. As of now the car has 39,000mi. I've had it 2 years & want to start to mod it, but if it is as rare as I think it is, I will enjoy it the way it is.
Thanks, Jay

We may never have accurate numbers for the Pontiacs. Its even less likely that we'll ever have any numbers for combinations. From a blind speculation standpoint its unusual, but unless you can find a reliable number that states there were very few built then its not really rare.

Damn...
Hey Jay, don't worry about it man. Just mod your car but don't do anything thats irraversable and keep all of the original parts. Enjoy it now, it may not be rare in terms of how many are out there but it's special to you and that's what matter unless you sell it. I've seen a few T/A's with the 350 but not many, I see ALOT more GTA's. The car should be worth the same to you whether there were 10 or 10,000 made or you own it for the wrong reasons

The question is how nuts are you? Presently I've acquired two pontiac press release documents dealing with the 91 Firebird, all the sales material, the model, etc etc etc... Two years ago I built an oak display case to hold all my crap in the back of the car at carshows. It covers the entire package shelf, but it only has room for about 1/3rd of my promo junk. hehehe I've also got my photo album stuffed full of the pictures I took while I was restoring/reassembling the car. I haven't sat down to make up a plaque yet, still not sure exactly how I'm going to lay it out.
