89 red bandit 2

Just bought a 89 red bandit 2. Did I overpay....yes however this is a nearly perfect bird garage kept all its life.no rust anywhere.and all options work.even the air.also have an 86 ta I am restoring.bandit 2 is 126 of 500. I realize adds no value to car. But it looks great inside and out.

I'm guessing you bought the one that is/was on Ebay? If so, isn't that one missing the front ground effects? Bandit II is an aftermarket conversion. I've never really been a fan.

No didn't buy that one. Mine is missing nothing and yes its a choo choo conversion. Bought it for the condition it is in. Not that it was a Bandit 2.

Cool! Good luck with your new ride. It's getting harder all the time to find nice ones. And as far as overpaying, don't fret it. I overpaid as well, but I got exactly what I wanted, in the condition I was looking for.

Re: 89 red bandit 2

IF you are happy with the car, then no you did not overpay... Bandit II is a CCC conversion (as you know) but there has been come conversions that have done pretty well in the market. Most of the time it does not add anything. The good thing is there is pretty good information on the CCC Bandit II, unlike some of the other cars like the Team Camaro that really there is only very limited information.

Seeing that I do not see what you paid for it, If you paid $500 for it then no you did not overpay. IF you paid $20,000 then yes you probably overpaid.
