I believe F41 was a suspension package.

F41 was the RPO code for sport suspension for 82-85 camaro. Basically an upgraded suspension for cars without the Z28 option.

Do a search, this has been discussed to death in the past. F41 is the generic GM RPO code for a heavy duty suspension system. When this applies to the Camaro its the mid level suspension, somewhere between FE1 and FE2. Makes sense doesn't it?
The F41 camaro however (with the F41 badging on the car) was a dealer installed kit, or an aftermarket conversion. Generally the cars have the improved suspension, are base models (sport coupes) and may or may not have wood dash kits, and specific badging.
