History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
I am trying to determine what a few numbers/letters represent.
Top right hand section: the "UA" below the VU9021 Dealer Order number. On the lower middle section: the 1224 and the FLA. I know the 12041 is the dealer zone and code?
Please see pics.
Thanks,
Paul

I believe the 1224 FLA is the vehicle order number and car was delivered to Jim Barnard Chevrolet in NY. The VU9021 is the assembly line sequence number. That code may be stamped to a cowl plate on the car.
Pretty sure the VU9021 is the dealer invoice number. Only saying that because I have the ordered invoice from another. Now, the FLA is also on this window sticker which is also a Van Nuys car (see attached). The Norwood cars I am seeing don't use FLA. Odd thing is on a 1981 Corvette, these 4 digits we are talking about to the left of FLA are the last 4 numbers of the VIN but not the case with Camaros. See 1981 Window corvette
sticker excerpt also.
Scott, saw a 1986 window sticker and corresponding build sheet on this site. The number in question is the job number, it's posted in the top left hand corner on the build sheet.
