Here is a site I found that will give you a Vin# from the License number if it is current and up to date. It also gives you a vehicle report on the car. If the tabs are expired it seems to not work. I hope the site lasts awhile for free!

Authenticity is very questionable. Tried multiple VINs with almost identical results apart from the normal model identification. But anyway thanks for sharing!!
