Compare this 1990 IROC to the 1991 287 mile RS
If the guy would have put a car like this away in a bubble it would have been the right decision.

It's kinda sad either way, if you think about it... In both cases no one really got to enjoy either car. The RS on account of being a nothing sixer, and the Iroc on account of it sitting in storage 98% of the time.
I appreciate seeing a nicely preserved thirdgen. I've mostly preserved most of the ones I've kept for 17 years. But I'd be hard pressed to say that I've enjoyed them as much as I have my fleet of beaters I've owned in the same time period. There's a certain freedom that comes with a higher mileage car that you just don't get with a pristine original. A small tear in a seat, or a door ding still rubs me wrong, but at the end of the day it's no biggie.

Now that is a beautiful car. I post on the "91 RS" that it was in fact US dollars, not Canadian. Comparing the 2, there is no question which one I would be bringing home. But seeing the price of this one, makes me real happy with the deal I got.

I almost bought this exact car a few years ago from the original owner as it wasn't advertised, but someone else with deeper pockets got wind of it and stepped in at the time to buy it... I remember being pretty upset about it. However, in hindsight, it was very nice, but being as picky as I am it definitely wasn't perfect and there were some body imperfections that would have driven me nuts. There were multiple dings in the car that broke thru the paint and had been touched up. But still, it was a very nice example.

Clean car, never been a fan of the red ones though (idk why). I imagine they could get 22 for it, either way it's not a bad price for what you get.
But man, ya gotta think that car has had a pretty sad life. It's like building a house and never living in it.

I'm curious as to how it took 19.9 gallons of gas. Probably a generic value on the invoice but still that customer probably thought he got 20 gallons. Lol
