92 z28 Purple haze L98

Hello, I have just bought a 1992 z28 in the Hawaii orchid / medium gray color combo. Has 140k original miles on it, completely original. Has very very slight surface rust, only needs paint, a new carpet, headliner and sail panels. It's a hardtop, L98 w/ 700r4 trans and 3.23 posi rear. Has disk brakes in all 4 corners, factor dual cats. Unfortunately it doesn't have the Z03 package but I know this color is a "rare" color. Does anyone know exactly how many hardtop z28 5.7L auto Camaros they made in this color ? I have a picture of the RPO codes if needed.
RESTORATION thread coming soon !
Thanks !

Re: 92 z28 Purple haze L98

Fun fact: Purple Haze was actually the 4th most popular color for 1992. It even outsold Black. I've never seen it on any Z28 in person though.

Back to your question, IIRC, Chevrolet still will not release any option combination numbers for any cars because of that stupid Ralph Nader lawsuit 50 years ago.

Nonetheless, sounds like a very desirable car, at least based on its color/option combination. You can kinda throw that out the window though in terms of value due to the 140K miles and being in need of paint. Good car to restore, just don't expect to make any money on it.

This one isn't going anywhere, she's going to be kept. I'm just curious because the amount of times I've seen a Camaro with this color, I can count it on one hand. I will post pictures up tomorrow.
