Re: Unmarked Camaro 3rd Gen?
Yes. Most of the B4Cs in fact.
Most of the DARE cars running around, whether they be Camaro, Mustang, monster truck, Jeep, whatever, get "marked" locally by the police dept that owns them. The majority of those are drug seizures and the like. Not B4Cs, which more typically, were state HP cruisers, used as unmarked speed traps and the like. If memory serves CHP had quite a few of them back in the day.

Re: Unmarked Camaro 3rd Gen?
FBI and Tresuarsy dept had em !!!
I remeber while looking for a Caprice 9C1 few years ago I saw a GOV surplus auction and several 4th gen B4C's were being auction off in Guam or something lol
Only time I EVER saw a Maro 3RD gen B4C on one of those GOV auctions was a green '91 or 92 EX-FBI car with STUPID low miles !!
Always wondered why the hell did the Treasury dept need a Camaro in the first place ??
also had the INSANE RARE RPO code GAM=Federal Car

Re: Unmarked Camaro 3rd Gen?
Found some pictures of some FBI Camaro B4Cs online. I find grey, black, and a few green ones. Wondered if they had police lights back in their past life.

And to add to what PurelyPMD posted....
"Fourth-gen Camaros in Chevrolet's B4C/Special Service trim lasting until a few years ago, at which point they were replaced with 2005-2006 Pontiac GTOs. The V-8-powered Pontiac G8 GT recently filtered into the fleet, though it appears that the GTOs have yet to be removed from service. No matter the model, the chief draws are usually acceleration capability, high-speed stability, and parts continuity."
