1991 Camaro B4C
In 2010, I bought a 1991 Camaro B4C. I'm a bit late on doing a thread, but better late than never. This isn't a build thread, just a thread on what the car is up to and what I'm doing to or with the car.

Awesome find, the paint looks amazing (always been a fan of white).

It's so fun reading about this car. My first new car was an Arctic White RS (but not this desirable). Just seeing it brings back lots of happy memories.

Beautiful! Same interior and all...except under the hood! I've got to spring for a trip through CarFax one of these days, and see if mine is still out there somewhere.

Nice thread for a sweet looking Camaro!
If it were mine I'd just add a couple blue stripes.

I love the car and the truck! Had a few of those style chevy trucks back in the day boy they were a lot cheaper and easier to work on than this new stuff.

Stop it...you're killing me! Now I want to run my VIN, find my old white RS, and buy it back!
That giant cue ball shifter...I must have gone through at least 3 of those under 12/12 warranty.

Re: 1991 Camaro B4C
No. Mine was very plain-Jane, which is how I was able to afford it. But from the outside, it was a dead ringer for your car. It was an Artic White RS coupe, L03, 5 spd., A/C, Tilt, 16" wheels, AM/FM/Cassette, rear window defogger, and that's about it. Base interior (which I prefer), crank windows, manual mirrors, etc. I added a factory cruise control kit and aftermarket stereo, and enjoyed the heck out of it. There's a picture of it sitting at the Tech Center, with the Chevrolet "World Headquarters" (at that time recently re-branded as such from "Central Office") at the beginning of my thread about my T/A. I posted a picture of the window sticker in the History forum somewhere...
The shifter ball kept developing a crank along the back side...radiating from the threads up. No, I was not shifting it like a gorilla. The original was anice, super smooth and glossy finish. The SPO replacements were slightly less smooth, and not as glossy. And they cracked in the same manner. After several replacements, I eventually gave up and lived with the crack.

Re: 1991 Camaro B4C
Thanks - it's not much, but it gets the job done. In stock form with the base interior, a good bit of road noise still gets in compared to modern cars, while onboard systems are a little louder (air conditioning in old vs. new car, for example).

I like the factory style PW7s in a 17" size, in white.
Chevy sold Beretta GTs in white with a white lace wheels...I always thought it made a handsome looking package.

Me too! My wife had an early 90s Grand Prix with the white lace wheels and it looked good next to my white 91 Z28 at the time. I think the 17in white crosslace wheels would look great on your car.

That's really cool. I love cars and coffee and every time I go I'm amazed at what cool cars people have stashed away. I always find it to be inspiring how folks are passionate about their cars.
