1-Hype-E Z28 non-matching #'s

Here's something you don't see everyday...

www.ebay.com/itm/263038287516

Says it's a 91 Z28, 1LE, seller says it's non-matching #'s and has a sub $10k buy it now. Curious how non stock status effects this Z28 compared to the Formula that sold a week ago. Do people lose sleep at night over matching numbers on a thirdgen? Is $9,990 too much for a 90k mile non-original car that appears to have a repaint?

On a related note... Do you suppose a buyer has grounds to return a car to a private seller when they discover the car was sold under fraudulent claims? For example...

1LE Performance Package includes Big Aluminum Caliper 12" rotors Corvette Brakes up front, Larger Fuel Tank with Baffles and swinging fuel pick up with sock
Myths die hard, but you would think this one would be thoroughly busted by now.

If I were selling a 1LE on ebay, i'd include a pic of the front brakes.

Odd That It's A No Rust California Car, Yet The Wheels Had To Be Restored.

It's possible they were restored due to clear coat fogging or the red fading to pink. Either way, they qualify for restored.

i think 9,990 is to much for that car personally .. i know where there is a all original 91 1le with 90k miles for 7500.00 and its a nice car ..

I like it. Sometimes I feel like this is the type of car I should have gotten instead of mine. That's a great canvas to do some mods...
