Shocks and Struts
I have an 89 IROC-Z 5.7 and am looking to replace the shocks and struts. I'd like to keep the car original and replace the parts with original factory spec parts, what should I get?
Below is what I'm thinking about ordering, would this be correct?
ACDELCO 503340 {#88945820} Professional; Premium Gas Charged Info
Front
BILSTEIN 24192934 B6 Performance; For Stock Ride Height Info
Rear
Thanks!

Re: Shocks and Struts
Most forums I have read highly prefer to go with the Koni Yellow shocks. You can buy whatever spring you fancy.

Re: Shocks and Struts
Pretty sure the "ACDelco" shocks and struts are currently just Gabriel in an ACDelco box. If Charmin made shocks and struts, they'd be Gabriel.
Nothing wrong with the Bilsteins but usually you can find Konis for the same or less money.
Really this thread is no different from every other thirdgen shock/strut thread. There are only a few categories of shocks and struts available, there's crap (Monroe Gas-matics/Sensa-tracs, Gabriel), marginally better (KYB, Tokico), and premium (Bilstein & Koni). Not really much to choose from.
