hey looking to get new interior for my 86 iroc from hawks.my iroc has a red interior but im not sure which one it is.any one have a list of interior rpo codes? thanks.

 

The White Book lists all the reds for 1986 as code 72? Where the ? determines which interior upholstery the car has.

72B : Red standard cloth
72C : Red custom cloth
72D : Red conteur custom cloth
72E : Red conteur standard cloth
72N : Red custom vinyl
72R : Red standard vinyl

It's best to avoid color names and stick to the codes. The thing is that in some cases the marketing teams at Chevy or Pontiac might refer to the same color with two different names. Aftermarket providers sometimes use a third name for the same color. The actual code should be specific. Probably not a bad idea to request a sample if you want to be sure.

 

Get your interior from Rockauto.com, it ALL comes from the same company ACC or ACME, just no markup
