Seat rails

Need drivers side seat rails for 1988 Pontiac gta. Someone on eBay is selling rails for both front seats stating they fit 82 to 92 Camaro iroc and trans am. Is this correct?

Re: Seat rails

The left and right tracks are different because the passengers floor has a hump in it to clear the floor. Ebay's fitment guides are #1 when it comes to WTF. Best to just ignore them completely since they're more about search manipulation than anything actually helpful.

Re: Seat rails

The "fits:" thing has ruined Ebay in my opinion.

A good way to search on Ebay is to type in your search terms, then a space and -fits:

For instance: 82 Trans Am -fits:

If you just type in 82 Trans Am, you get over 75,000 results.

If you include -fits: it takes it down to just a little over 2,000 results.

You've narrowed it down to people who know what they are selling for the most part.

And so, typing in 88 Trans Am nets you over 115,000 results.

but, 88 Trans Am -fits: nets you just over 920 results.

This gets rid of most of the dealers and most of the garbage.

Try it out.

Hey! That's a neat trick. Just tried it out, saw things I haven't seen before because I get sick of the crap search results and give up looking.
