Not sure why the drivers door panel is off, and why it has the wrong shift ****. It could be a cool little car for the money.....

This is a cool little car. It's been for sale for at least a year or more. You'd think that'd be plenty of time to button up the interior.

That is not an 84.

If the seller can't read the year off the title, I'm not sure I'd believe anything they say.

Look at the alignment of the hood and the front bumper cover at the driver's corner. Or the alignment/gap across the front of the hood. Where are the Camaro fender emblems? Why is the horn button missing with the mileage? With mileage that low a person shouldn't need to be ripping into the column.

Seems sketchy.

Maybe replacing the outer weatherstrips? Are they really cracked up like they appear? Or are all those lines something else?
That interior picture sure raises a lot of questions. Gotta see the money pictures of the undersides & drive train before I am buying in

EDIT: Also, rust/dirt around the lug nuts on the left front. Like drew said, lot of gap issues in the front, even extending up the fender.

It's at least an 85 based on the front bumper cover. That style rally wheel started in 86 or 87 IIRC. The spoiler photo that he was too busy taking pics of the torn apart interior to share would fill it in a bit, no 3rd brake light - 85, 3rd brake light in the spoiler 87. Pretty sure that style dash badge is from a later car too. I'm definitely not believing thats actual mileage. It looks to me like it could be a repaint and the front end suggests collision damage to me. The hood looks bent in more than one of the photos. Right click, view image, and they open full size...

4 and 7 are next door at the keypad on your right....

Looks like a good rust free canvas to build a race car out of. The non-performance versions of these cars are just not desirable.

Idk, lots of Z28s had CFI, LG4, L03, and other boring engines. A Sport Coupe with an LG4 isn't very far off from a Z28. I remember the first time I took a CFI Z28 for a ride, expecting it to be vastly different from my 83 Sport Coupe. It was disappointing. Wasn't until I started test driving L98 cars that the driving experience really lived up to the expectation.

Re: 1984 Camaro SC, V8, 4500 act miles $5,000

My 82 recaro had the std carb'd 305 with an automatic. If I drove one today I would be surely disappointed, but back in 1986 I though it was respectable, most likely because not much was fast in stock form back then? When I got my First LS1 Trans am with a 6 speed I thought that thing was stupid fast. well....... until I got used to it. Then I took my 87 iroc out of storage to stretch its legs & realized how anemic it was after 4000 RPM's. Almost thought something was wrong with it. lol All about comparison & what we are used to I'm thinking. Now family sedans are dang near 300hp

Now I just respect all of those cars for what they were, rather than what they actually are. You almost have to

That's how you have to do it. Appreciate them for what they are. My DD has an LS3 and TR6060 and I still enjoy driving my 3rd gens.

My '14 Ram crew cab 4x4 pickup has 395hp and would absolutely DESTROY my Z28 in a drag race lol. But I'd still rather drive the Camaro

In 2002 my folks had a new Harley Davidson Ford F150 super crew with the supercharged Lightning engine and my dad beat me against my 92 Z28 305tpi 5 speed car.

It sucks when our cars cant run with bone stock trucks.....
