Missing SPID Label

I am missing my SPID label. I would like to reproduce the label but need to know all the information(RPO codes) that would have been on the label for my car. Is there a source to get this information?

Depends on what year you have or if it's an export.

If it's anything approximately 1989 or earlier, you likely won't be able to get all the RPO codes that would be listed on the SPID unless you found the build sheet. There is no guarantee there is a buildsheet or any location for one. A copy of the factory invoice does not necessarily contain every single RPO code. Atleast not in my experience with all the cars I've done.

If the car is 1990 or newer, you may be able to get a list of RPO codes. If the car is an export, you may be able to get the RPO codes.

Re: Missing SPID Label

What year car? 82-83 didn't have a spid. 84-91.5 it's in the console glovebox between the seats. 91.5-92 it's in the locking box in the trunk. The spids in the glovebox tend to get dog eared and peeled off, the ones in the trunk tend to stick around.

If the SPID is gone, you're pretty much playing a guessing game. Compnine and the GM dealers have a partial list for 89ish-up, and export cars. You can probably get an invoice with a somewhat complete list, but usually the SPID has more codes on it than the other sources. Even the build sheet wont' always match the spid code for code.

REVIVING OLD THREAD

The SPID is missing, from my 1989 IROC Z Vert. (yes I checked console, trunk and it's "Hidden Compartment").

I already have the reproduction order form package (I forgot who I got that from)
Need a reproduction SPID . I can supply the RPO codes, from the order form. Anyone make SPID's ? Thanks.
