Unknown RPO codes

Just wondering if anyone knows these RPO codes; they're not known in the RPO decoder on this site.

C4B, E7Z, FA1, FA2, GA1, GA2, MX0, P06, 8PJ, 9PJ, and 96A

Be very careful about interpreting the RPO codes. The letter "G" could really be the number "6", "O"s and "0"s look similar since the zeroes aern't slashed, and other characters can look similar.

Here's what I have for RPO codes through 1992:

Hey thanks for the list, Vader, but it doesn't seem to have these RPO codes, either. Maybe I need to give a call to a GM dealership.

rob: are you absolutely sure? I already have a code for the trans on my list

MD8 : TRANSMISSION, AUTO 4 SPD, THM 700 R4

My personal favorite is C4B... GM lists it as this: ???
Haha... I don't know why so many RPO codes have no descriptions for them.

[edit] I also took a good look at the numbers and letters. Zeros have more rounded "corners" than the letter O, ones are missing the top right horizontal line so as not to look like the letter I, curvy twos don't look like straights Zs, five and S are easily discernable, same with six and G. Everything looks fine in my list, I'm pretty sure I didn't mistake any.

In an attempt to help you the only thing I could find that was even close to C4B was CB4, and that's a landau top.

You don't have that on a thirdgen do you?!?!?!

MY G0D I DO!

Also, my 84 doesn't have an RPO list anywhere. Not that I can find, anyway. I tore up the whole center console and took out the back seats.... got nothin. Can I get a list with my VIN from somewhere?

i phoned a local GM dealership and gave them my VIN. they faxed me the RPO codes within 5 minutes. i don't know if this will help you or not because i heard that for exportation pourposes, Canada required GM to keep a record of vin to rpo references (damn VK3, front license plate holder.. now i'm required to have once since my vin look up by the cops said i'm suppose to have one)
never hurts to try.. and be nice, they might try and make and extra effort to find it at the dealer.
